"Inside the Studio: Running the Space, Working the Light"
Presented by Pro Photography WA in partnership with Team Digital, this event is all about taking a closer look at what it means to run and work in a photography studio. Whether you’re considering setting up your own space or want to get more out of the one you have, this session will give you practical insights from working professionals who’ve built their careers in studio environments.
We’ve brought together three experienced photographers—each specializing in a different genre, Craig Kinder, Kirsten Graham and Ben McCoy, (family portraits, commercial branding, and product photography)—to share their insights on working in a studio. They’ll talk about the benefits, challenges, and day-to-day realities of studio work, from managing clients to perfecting lighting setups. There will also be a live demo shoot, where our speakers will walk through different lighting styles and techniques, giving you a hands-on look at how they bring their studio work to life.
Whether you're thinking of setting up your own space or just want to refine your studio skills, this session will give you practical knowledge and inspiration to take your photography to the next level.
